Cindy
Cindy has been dancing Sacred Circle Dance since 1991 and teaching it since 1993. Renowned for her enthusiasm and energy, she brings a sense of joy to the dance. Her Celtic choreographies are popular with groups around the country.

She combines a clear teaching style with an ability to create a more reflective atmosphere in which she enables groups to explore the spiritual aspects of the dance.

Helen Blackburn
Helen Blackburn, also known as Hel (a result of the confusion that arose whenever she and Helen O were together), the second teacher of Chorlton to be occupational therapy trained, began circle dancing in the mid 90's and leading dance groups in 1999, encouraged and mentored by Helen O. She also learnt circle dance through established teachers around Britain, at dance camps, with David Roberts in the French Alps and by travelling through Romania with native teachers to explore the folk dances here. With a musical background, she has an understanding and passion for worldwide musical styles and rhythms. Her teaching style is warm, clear and enabling.


Ana da Costa
Occupational Therapist from Brazil, living in Manchester since 2001. She has been teaching circle dance for the past 12 years - to university OT students at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, in various health services and at events both in Brazil and the UK. Currently working in the NHS, she is the facilitator of the Circle Dance Group provided by the Mental Health Provider Team (East Cheshire Mental Health Service).

She has an article published in the book Danças Circulares Sagradas:Uma Proposta de Educação e Cura (TRIOM Ed. 1998/ Brazil/ only in Portuguese). She has also written articles for the Occupational Therapy News, Social Service Staff Newsletter and to The Grapevine. In May 2005, she was invited to give a presentation about her Circle Dance Group at the 4th Brazilian Sacred Circle Dance Festival in São Paulo, Brazil. She also offers a Circle Dancing Course at Macclesfield College and Circle Dance Training Workshops at Gawsworth Village Hall.


Terri
Terri has been Circle Dancing since 1994 and first started leading Circle Dance in 2001. She teaches local groups in Timperley, Macclesfield and Bramhall. See Terri's website for details.

As a professional Tai Chi teacher Terri has an interest in enabling people to enjoy dancing while looking after their physical body as well as their inner centre. She regards her choices of music as an integral part of the dance experience and creates a balanced programme in which people can enjoy the music, relax and have fun.
